The Strong Struggling State – Oak of The Golden Dream

My latest tunes, “Oak of The Golden Dream” is quite a floating wind breeze, under strict circumstances you might call it something else if you like, but I’ve named it “Oak of The Golden Dream”. There’s something special about these tunes you see. They all began as raw-basic-beautiful electric guitar swindles by Eddie Marston, it was one night that I had asked him to quickly lay down a few guitar doodles for me to make songs with, and this was a while ago. Slowly throughout the last two months per se, I dabbed at these melodies, and then one evening just, oh say, March 11th 2012 I spanked them all really quickly and said, “You’ll do, my little treasures, you’ll just have to do.” This day also coincided with good pal John Garcia arriving back in the SOCAL and this made the decision for me that I had to granulate them onto CD before he showed up at my crib. Marston said he could not recall what the basic guitar tracks sounded like when I gave him this CD. J Gar said one track reminded him of something, but I cannot remember what. This is seal of approval truth. Time for me to begin work on some new material now, bye!  (Hover your mouse over that download link for a quick surprise)

The Sun Warshippers Manifesto

Playing these instruments out of a state of meditation allows our meditational state to be communicated so if we are in a state of oneness with the Divine Presence, which is always here – it’s just a fact of remembering it. We are remembering it very sharply, very clearly at the time we are playing the instruments, and the state we are in becomes communicated very naturally. In very surrendered states of meditation when the little ego or the mortal sense of self gives way to the Divine Eternal Presence, the Truth at that point or the mental state of us at that point is eternal perfection, and our vibration is communicated through the music.

Sun Warshippers – End of The Year Jamathong [Part 1]

This is the JAMATHONG PART 1, it took place on New Years Eve, consisting of Jake Brougham, Christian [last name possibly Perria?], and WMJC.  The most prominent jam of the year, and the last.  It possibly conquers the entire year into one jam, and then brings on 2012 with something to look up to for inspiration when times are tough, or just not distorted and squealing enough.

Track Titles are:

01 Up The Arse Pronto, 02 Mysterious Arse Dreams, 03 Got Mugged, 04Keeping Room For More Arse, 05 This Is It, The Most Arse

Sun Warshippers – Little Richard

Ambient wilderness, “ancient beehive”, this is guitar through two loop pedals and wah-wah, rhodes, and bass, reverb, concentration, love, tripping-out Little Richard would be proud of this if we were his children hopefully.

10 AM Movement – Live At Borderline 11/11/11

Yes, this is not a band name you see on here often, but don’t be fooled, it’s the band name of James Markas and Corey Klass, and this is a terrible recording (on my behalf) of us playing a show at Borderline in Thousand Oaks on 11/11/11.  Regardless of the quality, it’s full of beautiful energy and beer.

It includes James Markas (guitar, singing, harmonica), Corey Klass (bass, then guitar), Edwin Telford (keyboard, then bass), and WMJC (drums).

Sun Warshippers – Goodbye Sun

Here’s one for the song book, a REAL CLASSIC, or maybe just another typical jammmm, I don’t know, can’t tell, but it’s good, and you could definitely find me eating pancakes to this one, with extra maple syrup too, like I was listening so intently that I forgot I was pouring, and then before I know ittttt….

This one includes SHERE DISRAELI with the OG SUN WARSHIPPERS (ET, WMJC).

Armageddon Starring… Somewhere On Spaceship Earth

So here’s the deal, the last song is really the only song on this “album” (the song titled “Earth”).  And see the reason why is because we are here on planet earth, I realized this after I was already writing this to mention that none of the other songs are worthy of earth, but the last one, the last song, it’s something great babe.  It’s pretty galactic dopeness, it’s more like “Cosby-Homie-Jesus”, if I could really name the song that, it would be done.  So anyway, I’m only letting you download the last song, song 5.

Sun Warshippers – Night Circle

Here’s one where Eddie “Smitherin” Telford and William “Junction” Carroll took a seat at their favorite set of rocks up in the hills, the Rock Circle, and while strumming their guitar and banjo, listened to the crickets and the stars out on one warm night in June.Click here to download.

Sun Warshippers Live on June 18th, 2011

Not much to say about this one… just only that by the end of the first encore, the drumset had been spray-painted blue and tossed across the room by local junkies, all while still being played and during a rough and steady jamming.  This can all be heard on this recording, although is tough to hear the wrestling going on, you can just at one point no longer hear the bass drum being played.Click here to download.
